What do you do if you have parts from several 30's vintage Dodge trucks lying around? You add a white painted SBC Chevy, lower the whole thing over a set of green wheels and start driving.
That's what Olin Glick did with this hand-me-down Pre-war in Roberts, WI. A body man by trade, Olin's truck of course runs full on patina while cruising and making deliveries.
The truck is a fresh build that just hit the road this fall, look for it at St. Croix Valley hot rodding events next summer. High on cool, low on frills and built in the garage, this is what Real Life: Hot Rods is all about.
Olin always seems to be working on someone else's stuff (He helped me tow the Mustang back from paint) but he found time to put this sweet hay-hauler together. We can't wait to see what's next out of the Glick-Glick-Boom garage. What do you think Olin, will the Chevy be ready to haul next year's Christmas tree?
Any other local rides just hitting the streets this fall? Send us a pic.
