River Falls Cruz-In. Vintage Car Sunday

Buzz and the girls and I made it out to the River Falls Days Cruze-In on Sunday.
This a relaxed no-awards Cruz-In that is part of a weekend long celebration in River Falls. Classic and custom cars lined both sides of River Falls historic downtown.
I always enjoy this type of downtown show as the cars look much more natural along an historic downtown street than they do sitting in the grass at a park. Not that there is anything wrong with parks but I look down the street and see beautifully restored old cars on both sides I can imagine what the street might have looked like in 1963. Or 1970 or wherever the cars in any given view take me.
There was some 50's music piped in to complete the illusion. The weather threatened but minded its manners ensuring we all had a good time at the cruise and at the nearby carnival and food court/beer garden. We eve watched the duck races under the bridge before heading home.
Don't miss the chance to take in the next River Falls Cruze-In during the Bacon Bash on September 18. I've got to get out to the garage now a nd get shined up for the Street Machine Nationals next weekend. See ya there.
