Gary Jackson Memorial Car Show, Shiners Bar & Grill

Gorgeous F100 looked good with white walls on

We went to the Gary Jackson Memorial Car Show in Lakeland, MN Saturday. Held at Shiners Bar & Grill right off the St Croix Trail the show was easy to find. They had a good turnout of great cars and people.

The Mustang started running rough on the way to the show so we left early to get her back in the garage and see what was going on (more on this later). We didn't stay for the awards but since all entries were given one vote, I expect it was a 100 way tie for first place.

There was a strong turnout of Mustangs and Camaros as well as a few 70's Corvettes. The dirt lot meant all the cars were dusty after an hour but everyone seemed to be having a good time and I think the rat rodders actually enjoyed the dust.

There was live music from The Tumbling Dice, door prizes and food and drinks inside. All in all a great way to spend a beautiful fall day. We hope to make it again next year and maybe figure out how the voting works.
